From Vogue to Voguing: A Steichen-Inspired Vogue Battle

Guess what? AGO is hosting another event! Last week's silk screening workshop was very inspiring, this week, it's about voguing. Unfortunately, it is exam time so many of us are racing with time but for anyone who's got lots of that on their hands, GO!

Join the AGO Youth Council & Ryan G Hinds as they host a Vogue dance off inspired by the photography of Edward Steichen. Featuring a panel discussion about the art of voguing and its links to fashion photography, a professional vogue demonstration and a live competition-open to all.

Put your best face forward and join in the battle! The theme is BLACK & WHITE so be sure to come decked out in one or both colours!

Happy New Years to everybody! Though it's a little late, it's still January and it still feels... fresh!
So alive! be Alive everybody! I know we're all suffering from the bouts of culminating activities and studying and exam fretting, but be Alive!


Kick starting the year with some club enthusiasm seems to be a little difficult at this time, so we're laying a little low until Semester 2 begins. However Designers, those prototypes or dresses if you've just started on them need to be seen by the Head of Designers. Email them, tell them your situation, find them in the halls, talk to them!


Models, there will be a practice next Tuesday and 2nd auditions following very soon. Exact dates to be confirmed. 


Our Clothing Drive will be announced soon, so gather up those clothes you don't wear anymore and get ready to show some sharing is caring attitude!

Designers we hope you're working on your prototypes. We are most definitely having a meeting as soon as we get back from the break; the prototypes must be present so we can move forward...
Models practice. second model auditions will be taking place hopefully the first or second week we get back.

So we've made it past the first Model Auditions, we've narrowed the list of 40 odd people to about 25? I think...
So we held our phase one Model meeting Friday, lead by wonderful Britney B. and Ms. Hewitt.
